Change is good, change is bad
Change depends on how I deal with it
Change is uncontrollable, it has a life of its own
Change is controllable; it all begins with choices I make
Change is now, change is here
Change is always, constant, forever
Change is painful, change is scary
Change is peaceful when I accept, embrace, surrender
Change is so expected, yet it throws me off guard
Comes in events, times, things, people who seem so fixed
Opens up doors to things I never knew existed
Closes paths that are yearning to be left behind
Change is exciting, change is freeing
Change is waiting at the next street corner
Change is a multitude of thoughts and emotions
All longing to be feel ‘normal’ again
Change inside is reflected outside
Change is the gap between all I am and all I want to be
Change is my companion, she walks along with me
Whispering in my ear the next secret to be.

Yes, change depends on how we deal with it alright. And freeing, and scary, and everything in between.

Beautifully worded. I could relate to it 100 %, because I've been through these same emotions. I don't have the ability to put my experience in words, but I relived some of my emotions (when I had moved), through your words.
Felt too many things at one time, to be able to adopt one strategy to counter change. Too many thoughts, too many ideas, too many rights, too many wrongs ! One thing for sure, it was a big experience !
